PBAT (polybutylene adipate/terephthalate) is a biodegradable plastic that is widely used in many fields due to its good biodegradability and physical properties.

Due to its good biodegradability, PBAT can be decomposed in about 60-120 days under ideal composting conditions, and the decomposition time in the natural environment will be longer, but still much shorter than traditional plastics. Therefore, PBAT is particularly suitable for application scenarios that require rapid degradation after use.

It is worth noting that although PBAT has good biodegradability, it also has certain limitations, such as its relatively poor heat resistance. Therefore, when selecting PBAT for a specific application, these characteristics and limitations of the material also need to be considered.
