Maintenance of high-speed plastic mixer:

①Be sure to follow the operating procedures of the equipment, which is the maintenance of the equipment.

② Note that after the equipment is started normally, add materials and mix, and the materials should be added slowly in the required order.

③ Prepare sealing rings, rubber rings for couplings, V belts and rolling bearings. The working parts of these parts are prone to failure and should be replaced in time if necessary.

④ Regularly (usually one quarter) check whether the fasteners are loose; check the tightness of the V-belt installation; all parts of the equipment should be cleaned and decontaminated.


Mixer maintenance can generally be carried out once a year. Note the following:

①Check and trim the gap between the stirring paddle, the scraper and the inner wall of the mixing chamber, which should meet the requirements in the table below.

②Remove each rolling bearing, clean and inspect it; replace the severely worn parts. Replace grease and seals.

③ Check whether the main drive shaft is bent or worn.

④Check and clean the cylinder, replace the consumable parts of the sealing ring and guide sleeve, and check whether the piston rod has bending deformation and wear.

⑤ After the main parts are inspected, make a record, test if necessary, prepare the parts and accessories, and propose the next maintenance and replacement.


Precautions for high-speed plastic mixer:

1. Before using the machine, a dry-run test machine should be carried out. Before the test machine, the tightness of all the connecting parts of the high-speed mixer and the integrity of the electrical equipment should be checked. Then close the main power switch, turn on the power supply, and carry out the dry running test machine.

2. Press and hold the safety protection switch with your hand, then press the green start switch, and pay attention to the direction of the motor (rotate clockwise). If the direction is reversed, please press the red switch to stop and turn off the power supply, and switch the position of any two phase wires.

3. Dry running test machine test. The high-speed mixer can be put into production only if abnormal noises, high heat of the bearing gear, and increased temperature of the reducer are not found.

4. After confirming that the motor of the high-speed mixer is turned correctly, it can be put into production normally. Please set the time according to the color mixing time required for different materials (the timer can be adjusted from 0 to 30 minutes) for production use.

5. In the process of use, if you need to scrape the inner barrel wall material of the high-speed mixer, use wooden or plastic tools, and do not use your hands to avoid hand injury accidents.

6. If the machine is found to vibrate or make abnormal noises during use, the high-speed mixer should be shut down immediately for a comprehensive inspection.

7. Do not use too much load. Generally, it is measured by the load of the motor of the high-speed mixer. The heavy-load current of the 380V motor when mixing plastics is normal if it does not exceed the rated current of the motor. If the load is exceeded, the mixing capacity should be reduced.

8. Managers must be familiar with the technical performance, internal structure, control system and operating principles of the high-speed mixer. Do not leave the work site during operation to prevent failures and damage to parts, and ensure safe production as the premise.
