When using a twin-screw pelletizer, you should pay attention to the operation of the main machine, because the main machine is a very important part of the machine, so you need to pay attention to its operation. The following is a detailed introduction to the precautions.

1. The rated current of the main engine is the rated current of the motor. During normal operation, it should be controlled below 80% of the rated current, leaving room to prevent overload (please refer to the motor nameplate for the rated current). The rated voltage and frequency of the main engine should be controlled above 50% of the rated voltage and frequency during normal operation.

2. The head pressure sensor is equipped with a digital display. The digital display number should be below 10MPa during normal operation. The operator should always monitor the digital display number. If it exceeds 15MPa, the flow channel should be checked for blockage. Feeding should be stopped immediately, and the main engine screw speed should be gradually reduced. The number on the sensor digital display should be adjusted below 10MPa. If the number on the digital display is still high, the machine should be manually stopped for inspection.

3. The operator should regularly check the tail lubrication oil pressure gauge (value 0.1-0.2MPa). If it is below 0.05MPa, the oil circuit, oil pump motor and oil pump should be stopped immediately to protect the normal operation of the transmission box gear.

4. During normal operation, there should be operation records.

Twin-screw granulator shutdown operation:

Twin-screw granulator shutdown generally has two situations, one is normal shutdown, and the other is emergency shutdown. The following editor will introduce the shutdown operation methods in these two situations.

1. Normal Stop

1. Adjust the speed of the feeding screw to zero and press the stop button of the feeder.

2. Close the vacuum pipeline valve.

3. Gradually reduce the speed of the screw to drain the remaining materials in the barrel as much as possible. For heat-sensitive materials that are easily decomposed by heat, use polyolefin materials or special cleaning materials to clean the main machine before stopping. After the cleaning materials are basically discharged, adjust the speed of the screw main machine to zero, press the stop button of the main machine, and close the valve next to the vacuum chamber at the same time, and open the vacuum chamber cover.

4. If it is not necessary to pull out the screw for reassembly, press the stop buttons of the main motor cooling fan, oil pump, vacuum pump, and water pump in turn, and disconnect the power switches of each section of the heater on the electrical control cabinet.

5. Turn off auxiliary equipment such as pelletizers.

6. Close the external water inlet valves, including the cooling water of the feeding section barrel, the cooling water of the oil lubrication system, the vacuum pump and the water tank (the throttle valves of the soft water cooling pipelines of the main machine barrel do not move).

7. Clean the exhaust chamber, die surface and the entire unit surface.

2. Emergency Stop

If you need to stop the main machine in an emergency, quickly press the red emergency stop button on the electrical control cabinet. Turn the main machine and each feeding speed knob back to zero, and then turn off the main power switch. Only after eliminating the fault can you start the machine again according to the normal start sequence.
