PP Long Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Features and Application

At present, LFT-PP (long fiber reinforced PP) has been widely used in automobiles, electric tools, home appliances, water treatment components. However, each field has different requirements for lft-pp. Here we briefly introduce the following 8 kinds of lft-pp:

LFT-PP—Ordinary Grade

This kind of lft-pp reinforced material is mainly made of long glass fiber material, without other auxiliary agent. The content of long glass fiber is generally 20-60%; thermal deformation temperature is above 147 ℃ (the higher the content of long glass fiber, the higher the thermal deformation temperature is, resistance to low-temperature impact strength is higher).

Main features: Chemical coupling, high strength, reference short cut length 8mm, 11mm, 20mm;

Application Products: Auto parts, washing machine parts, water pump parts, water treatment parts, home furnishing and so on.

LFT-PP—Heat resistant grade

This kind of lft-pp long glass fiber content is generally in 20-50%, the thermal deformation temperature is above 152 ℃ (The higher the content of long glass fiber, the higher the thermal deformation temperature is).

Main features: High strength, long-term heat-resistant aging resistance (150℃x1000h, 140℃x1000h), reference short cut length 8mm, 11mm, 20mm;

Application Products: automobile front and rear end module, battery bracket, engine cover shell, water tank frame, skylight frame, etc.

 

LFT-PP—UV Resistance

The long glass fiber content of UV-resistant lft-pp is general in 20-50%, thermal deformation temperature is above 152 ℃.

Main features: High-strength, UV-resistant, long-term heat-resistant aging performance, good product appearance, reference short cut length 8mm, 11mm, 20mm;

Application Products: Car (truck) door handle, rearview mirror system, battery shell, truck (SUV) external pedal and so on.

LFT-PP—hot water resistant grade

Long glass fibre content of long-term hot water resistant lft-pp is generally 15% and 20%, and the thermal deformation temperature is over 146 ℃.

Main features: High strength, good hot water-resistant, good detergent performance, long-term heat-resistant oxygen aging performance, reference short cut length 8mm, 10mm, 12mm;

Application products: Washing machine parts, dryer parts and so on.

LFT-PP—low odor, low TVOC

TVOC is the abbreviation of total volatile organic compounds, under more stringent vehicle air management requirements, low odor and low TVOC lft-pp has a great advantage in the automotive interior .

Main features: High strength, low odor, low TVOC, reference short cut length 8mm, 10mm, 12mm;

Application Products: Automobile instrument panel (IP) skeleton, inner door panel, Central control panel bracket, glove box cover plate, airbag bracket, rear board, etc.

 

LFT-PP——ultra low warpage

PP is easy to warp after adding glass fiber, when the product with high dimensional requirement is injected, ultra low warpage LFT-PP can be considered.

Main features: Ultra-low warping, high-strength, reference short cut length 8mm, 10mm, 20mm;

Application Products: Automobile inner door panel, glove box cover plate, air-conditioning fan, and other products requiring dimensional stability.

LFT-PP—Halogen-Free flame retardant

Long glass fiber content of halogen-free flame retardant lft-pp is generally 20% and 30%, mainly used in products that contacting with electricity and flame.

Main features: High strength, halogen-free flame retardant, high gwit, high CTI, reference short cut length 8mm, 10mm, 12mm;

Application Products: wire casing, coil skeleton, building materials electrical sockets, public seats and so on.

LFT-PP—Super Toughness Grade

Super-toughness grade lft-pp long glass fiber content is generally 20% and 30%, mainly designed for the product of large vibration and susceptible to stress impact.

Main features: ultra-high impact strength (under normal temperature and low humidity), reference short cut length 8mm, 10mm, 12mm;

Application Products: Electric tools, pump housing, pipe fittings and so on.
